Frollo sings Hellfire because he wants Esmerelda (This is my own interpretation, I haven’t read the book) but he sees her as nothing, so he wants to ‘use’ her. Damn good song, Tony Jay’s voice is simply amazing.

Actually, they’ve made Quasie pretty tolerable, even cute in this cartoon.
